Our Story

At Ninyas of North, we believe that strength and confidence should never be limited by what you wear. Every woman deserves to move freely, feel comfortable, and express her identity, without having to compromise.

But this brand didn’t start in a big office or with a team of designers.

It started with a simple conversation between a brother and sister:

The sister, who is also the one of the co-founders of NinyasofNorth - had been struggling to find good clothes to work out in. As a Muslim woman who wears the hijab, the options were either too revealing, not practical, or simply didn’t feel right. One day she told the brother:

“I just wish there were clothes made for us. Clothes that I can wear at the gym or outdoors and still feel comfortable and confident.”

As her brother and an entrepreneur, he told her something that has stuck with us ever since:

Sometimes, it’s easier to shape the future than to wait for it to change, so Don’t wish for it. Work for it.

That became the heart of our brand.

From that moment, we knew we had to create something different,  not just another clothing line, but something designed from the ground up for women like my sister, and for so many others who face the same challenge.

We named the brand Ninyas of North because we see these women as modern-day “ninjas”: covered, but never hidden. Strong, focused, and moving through the world with grace and purpose. The “North” reflects our roots in Norway, a place where quality, design, and functionality matter.

Every piece in our collection is thoughtfully chosen. We spend time selecting the best fabrics, testing the fit, and making sure each item gives freedom of movement while keeping the style elegant and modest. We want our customers to feel good, not only about how they look, but how they move and perform - whether it’s in the gym, out in nature, or in everyday life.

NinyasofNorth is about more than clothing. It’s about empowering women to be themselves. It’s about owning your space and moving forward with confidence.

And it all began because one woman stopped wishing and started building.

So:

"Don’t wish for it. Work for it."
